top dog, Baloo is a real character, very affectionate and full of life, but very headstrong with it. the Houdini of the pack that worried the life out us when he slipped his collar in a housing estate and just ran towards a very busy road. he returned upon hearing Helen’s voice – wondering what she was doing out cos he was playing with Guy at the time.
thought we were going to have to retire him from working prematurely at only 5 years old when he went lame. it turned out to be arthritis in his hip, however with treatment he has continued to run very happily, although only doing a few rallies during the 07/08 season. generally makes up the rules as he goes along. very head strong – a trait his litter mates are noted for – and yet to grow up. has nerves of steel and rarely rises to a challenge from other unruly dogs.
can open crate doors from inside within seconds. bangs on the kitchen door relentlessly. will recognise the voice of Lesley Robinson at 50 metres and go bonkers to greet her.
